Financed by County Council Education & Social Services, Pen Green is a Centre of Excellence for high quality early years education and care, together with education and training for parents.

Following the success of the Centre, the DfES has most recently funded the building of a Regional Leadership Centre to provide complete training, research and advisory services throughout the region. Comprising a flagship 200 seat lecture theatre, seminar rooms and catering facilities, this new Centre features high-tech specifications throughout.

In providing Audio Visual facilities for up to 200 delegates, high quality voice and foreground music facilities were essential, as was the requirement for even sound coverage over the banked seating area. Integrating 8 i-ceilings Pro Panels into the ceiling plane provided the ideal audio solution, whilst maintaining the clean, simple lines of the room.
