‘The Guildhall’ is Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council’s newly built headquarters which accommodates a new, user-friendly, interactive Council Chamber to service the 40-strong committee of councillors.

To ensure the voice of each councillor can be heard clearly by the whole committee and the audience and to provide accurate voting results, a wireless conference system has been installed for each member. The wide acoustic dispersion characteristics of the installed i-ceilings loudspeaker system vastly reduce the difficulties of feedback in an environment where 40 microphones are in such close proximity to the speakers.
